Indoor/Outdoor inspiration from an unexpected source, a Swedish shelter mag. Discovered via one of my favourite "new" blogs, Scandinavian Chic, by style savvy Dagny& Rikke-Pop over there to see fab interiors& fashion.

Notice the lamps in the two last pictures? Who knew the tutu lampshade would work so well with an indoor-outdoor theme...

Yes, today's post is about mostly contemporary interiors which are meant for a summery lifestyle, spaces which naturally open up to some terrace, deck or pool, with large bay areas as well as openings for a maximum use of daylight. As well as outdoor areas which are outfitted like interiors. Spaces meant for entertaining and for enjoying warm weather. Happy Weekend!
Love love love it!! All of it! This is exactly what I needed today (it's pouring down here, and it's coooold!)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the shout out!!

Yes yes yes. Indoor out. Always!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics! Love this! It's funny, as a gardening-type, I'm always thinking "let's bring the outdoors in!"
ReplyDeleteOMG, these are all such beautiful indoor/outdoor rooms!!! I'd love to be relaxing in any one of them right now :-)
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or does the tutu light fixture look like a great big brush!?
Have a great weekend!!
Kelly
I love your contemporary interiors choices! Yes Design Ties the light fixtures do look like a big brush :) I think it's great! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLOVE that giant feather duster type lamp (sorry don't know what else to call it). It's always a good idea I think to bring the outdoors in, and vice versa. But the banquet chairs in the first 2 photos are really out of place!
ReplyDeleteHey everyone, you got me cracking up with the light fixture decoding! It DOES look like a giant brush that's posing as a tutu. It's perfect I think lol.
