Via Coastal LivingAs much as I like floral arrangements, there's a trend which has quite grown on me. It's the oversized leafy arrangements in lieu of flowers. Very practical and completely inexpensive, if you have a garden or a few potted plants needing pruning anyway! It's funny that even though shelter mags often feature it like "tropical style", I have yet to see islanders here give it a go.

Just found your blog .. it seems a lovely magical place you live in. Most people holiday where you live. Cool. Great blog too. And yes, I agree with the flower comment - I too am over flowers and have taken to green (either plants which live forever - if I water them - or leaves, which always look so dramatic). (-:
