My absolute favorites are the beautiful screen-doors. I don't know about sound-proofing issues, I'd imagine it can turn out to be cumbersome if you use them in all your rooms. But, they'd be great as doors for walk-in wardrobes, separators for the dining room from the living area or for any privacy need in a loft space.
