An event which I am still kicking myself for not attending!!>_< Pecha Kucha Night truly is a global celebration, and one of the latest additions is PKN Mauritius. Vol. 1 was held on Feb 4th, at Le Patio, under the aegis of city’s coordinator, Stephen Ng. There were 9 presenters, ranging from digital arts alumni to photographers. PKstyle is 20 slides each and 20 seconds per slide, making up 6minutes and 40 seconds of fame. In fact, Pecha Kucha Night, devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham architecture), was conceived in 2003 as a place for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
The 1st edition was a success, and had local press coverage. Stephen promises that PKN Mauritius Vol. 2 will be held sometime in April...(it's a rendez-vs!!).
Have you participated in a PKNight?

  3. Yeah. That's a really nice event to attend to. And It would be better if they hold it at the residence mauritius hotel this year. I really love it there.
