Home staging anyone?

This incredibly stylish studio looks well lived in. Doesn't it? well NO. It's a home-staged(might have just invented a verb)pad by Alvhem, a real estate company in Sweden, which not only handles listings of available flats in Sweden-they also stage the property by hiring art directors and professional photographers. The idea is to sell not just the space, but also the "lifestyle" of living in such a place. I'm quite in awe of the resulting effect, the combination of white, aqua blue and carmine pink being a winner for me! At the same time, I can't help thinking, wow, we're down to this huh, is the economy and hence the real estate industry doing that bad?...Quand on aime, on ne compte pas?...
